We than hand sand and stain our washer pits with a quality exterior medium oak stain for lasting beauty and durability. The carpet on the inside of our washer pits is a beige outdoor carpet which will help reduce the noise and bounce levels on the playing area. We than went one step further and thought of comfort. We added a brass handle on the top of the closed unit for easy transportation. Both washer pits lock together securely with a matching brass latch on both side.
What size are your washer pit games?
When completely latched together in a travel case form, our washers games measure 24" long and 18" wide. When it came to weight, we selected lumber of quality and thought of weight. Each washer set weighs approximately 18lbs making these pits easy enough to carry for just about anyone.
How do I care for my new washer game?
About the only thing you should be concerned with is excessive moisture. Leaving the game out in the rain may cause some warping of the playing field. We recommend that these products be stored in a dry location after use.
It is best if you store the game in the closed position, this will keep the game intact much longer.
The washers are powder coated and over time, the coating will wear off with play.
What does "powder coated washers" mean?
Powder coating is a long lasting paint technique that will allow for a longer life for your washers. The way that powder coating works is a bit complex. First the washer is heated to around 350 degrees. Than the paint which is in powder form is gently added to the heated washer. Once the washer is covered it is than reheated at 400 degrees until the paint has set.
This method will give longer life to your washers. Keep in mind that there is no such paint that with handle consistent metal on metal without eventually chipping. Thats just part of the washers game. However powder coating is the best method for keeping your washers looking their best for longer.
Can I leave my washer game outside?

How many people can play this game?
Typically there are 2 players for a singles game, or
4-8 players for a team game. If you have more than 4 players, you will need to purchase extra washers. You may learn as time goes on that the more players you have, the more fun and crazy the game can be.
How many washers come with the game?
You will receive 2 complete sets of washers with your game. That is a total of 8 washers. One set of washers is orange and the other set is white. If you would like to purchase extra washers or a different color, please visit our Washer Game Accessories for more details.
